You Can Now Play GTA 5 in Offline Mode Again – New Update Fixed Bugs

We have all seen earlier this week how Rockstar Games Launcher made its appearance. However, once that happened, the Steam version of Grand Theft Auto 5 just could not be played by users in offline mode. Then, Rockstar has made an official statement, saying that it was a bug and that it was not them making any changes to the DRM of GTA 5.

Since then, they have solved the bug, and there is even a ticket with regards to it on Rockstar’s support site.

So what are users supposed to do if they want to play GTA 5 offline?

If you want to play GTA 5 on your PC in offline mode after you updated to the Rockstar Games Launcher, you need to have the Rockstar Games Launcher updated, and then you need to run it. After that, sign in to the Rockstar Games Launcher. After that, don’t forget to update GTA 5 to the latest version, then launch the game through the Rockstar Games Launcher while you’re still online.

In a nutshell: you have to be online when you launch it the first time. After doing that, you should be able to play the game in offline mode without any problems.
