Xbox Series X: Microsoft Announces Games Showcase Event Scheduled Soon

There’s only a matter of time until the gaming world will witness the most significant boost in its entire history. If everything goes according to the plan, both the next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft will arrive on the market in December. They will bring tremendous upgrades to their predecessors.

The two upcoming next-generation consoles are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Trying to predict which one will be better seems utopic, as only time will tell for sure. Both of them have the purpose of getting rid of those annoying in-game loading times once and for all.

Xbox Games Showcase on July 23rd

Later in the current month, a new event will be showcasing games for Xbox Series X and made by Xbox Games Studios. The event is scheduled on July 23rd at 9AM PT / 12PM ET.

One of the games that we know for sure of being within the showcase roster is Halo Infinite. The title is a first-person shooter co-developed by 343 Industries and SkyBox Labs. It’s also published by Xbox Game Studios for Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. You are free to feast your eyes upon the trailer below:

Xbox Series X is superior to most gaming PC’s out there, as it has the following specs:

  • CPU: 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.8GHz (3.6GHz with SMT) 7nm
  • GPU: 12 TFLOPs, 52 CUs at 1.825GHz, Custom RDNA 2
