WhatsApp: The Developers are Preparing Animated Stickers for The App

If you’re also in love with WhatsApp (well, who’s not?), there’s worth knowing that the Facebook-owned app is receiving another interesting feature soon. The animated stickers are finally coming to the app, as they were heavily-demanded by the users. If you think that such a feature can make your instant messages more expressive than before, you should consider using them stickers!

WABeta Info, the expert WhatsApp portal, reveals that the animated stickers will arrive in the next updates of WhatsApp. In this way, the instant messaging platform will finally compete against other apps like Telegram and Messenger.

Already available as beta version for Android and iOS

This means that it will take a while until the new feature becomes available to all users, and the developers could use this time to improve the stickers based on the feedback received. Therefore, you must have the latest WhatsApp beta installed (version 2.20.149.8) to have a chance of experiencing any animated stickers. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until the feature becomes available to all WhatsApp users. There’s no official release date announced.

If you’re not among the over 2 billion WhatsApp users already, maybe the description of the app from the Play Store will convince you to do the opposite:

WhatsApp Messenger is a FREE messaging app available for Android and other smartphones. WhatsApp uses your phone’s Internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi, as available) to let you message and call friends and family. Switch from SMS to WhatsApp to send and receive messages, calls, photos, videos, documents, and Voice Messages.

WhatsApp offers a variety of useful features at no cost once you’re connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Self-destructive messages, group chat, sending large files such as videos, and many more – these are among the main functionalities that WhatsApp has to offer. The Facebook-owned app is constantly improving, which means that it’s room for a lot more quality.
