Watch Dogs Legion: Release Date and When Can You Preload It

Who said that open-world games can’t come up with anything new anymore? Ubisoft is determined to tear down that bias, as it’s developing Watch Dogs: Legion, a futuristic game where the player has to save London from havoc inflicted by extraterrestrial visitors.

Ubisoft’s upcoming game allows the player to choose from a multitude of characters to guide around the metropolis. Whether you want to take down enemies using an Augmented Reality Cloak, hack drones, or deploy spider-bots, Watch Dogs: Legion will be there to grant your wishes.

Release Date: October 29

Watch Dogs Legion arrives for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 29, and it will be available for the next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at a later date. Ubisoft declared the following:

“The game will be available on October 29 at midnight local time in each country. From then on you will be able to recruit anyone, play as anyone, explore our near-future London, fight back against the authoritarian powers who want to take over, and find out who is behind the Zero-Day bombings.

“Our Online mode will launch early December, offering up to 4-player co-op and a variety of new content, activities and stories. We will share more details as we get closer to December.”

As for the preload, you can download Watch Dogs Legion on October 26 at 8am PDT / 11am EDT / 4pm CET on Uplay and from the Epic Game Store for PC. The option is already available for Xbox One, while PS4 owners can start preloading after midnight local time on October 27.

Watch Dogs: Legion will also become available for the Google Stadia platform but at an unknown date. We’re talking about the third installment from the Watch Dogs series, which is also the sequel to Watch Dogs 2.
