The Soulcalibur VI World Invitational 2019 tournament took place last weekend in Las Vegas, offering players the chance to prove their might and earn impressive awards.
During a press release, the producer of the game stated that a new DLC character would be available soon as Hildegard von Krone will be added to the game. Also known as Hilde, the fiery princess is a determined defender of her kingdom, fighting against a plague that rendered her father insane.
As the only heir to the throne, Hilde lost her childhood as she had to guide her people and protect them against the threat of Azure Night. The character was introduced in Soulcalibur 4 as a champion of her kingdom. A trailer was also released showcasing some of her moves:
Hilde retains Glazende Nova and Frischer Himmel, a short sword and a spear, which also features a flag with the coat of arms of her kingdom. She was banned from official tournaments because she was too strong.
