All there is to know about Sony Days of Play 2020

The Sony Days of Play campaign will take place again this year. We are very happy that Sony decided to launch this campaign once more. However, the first details of the upcoming campaign already surfaced the internet.

Please keep in mind that the below information has not been confirmed yet. Therefore, take the news in this article with a pinch of salt. It looks like the first advertising brochures from discounters and retailers reveal the first information regarding the campaign. Based on this information, the start date of the campaign and what the Days of Play 2020 promises have been revealed.

Release Date

According to the advertising brochures from discounters and retailers, the event will start on May 25, 2020.

Days of Play offer

This year, like last year, Sony is offering a 30 percent off reduction for the PlayStation Plus membership. We also expect to see a selection of games that will go on sale for a limited period of time. Get ready to buy cheaper games! What kind of games? Well, looking a year back, we expect to see the latest games or blockbusters from the first-party line-up. It makes sense, doesn’t it?

Here are some of the titles that had the price reduced last year: God of War, Days Gone, Spider-Man, and MediEvil.

Days of Play hardware

We don’t know for sure what to expect from Days of Play in terms of the hardware discounts. Last year, Sony offered the PS4 Slim. Plus, consumers could have either the PS4 Slim or other discounts on the regular consoles. However, Sony’s offers included VR headsets and other accessories.

Other retailers believe that Death Stranding, The Last of Us, Days Gone, and Spider-Man games are part of the Days of Play 2020 edition. Plus, these games will cost only EUR 19. Part of this year’s edition is the PS4 Pro and PSVR bundles. Check out Days of Play Saturn and Days of Play Media Markt campaign pages.

The official announcement will follow shortly.
