About Red Dead Redemption 2
The action takes place in a fictional version of the West, Middle West, and the Southern United States, at the end of the US border, in 1899, 12 years before the events of Red Dead Redemption, and follows the story of Arthur Morgan, a member of the band. The lawless Van der Linde, who, in an attempt to survive for the end of the Wild West, clashes with government forces, rival gangs, and numerous other enemies.
Part of the Van der Linde band is John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption, the game following, besides Arthur’s story, and the maturing of John into the serious and responsible person who is in that game. Besides John, other Band members return to Red Dead Redemption, including Dutch van der Linde, the band’s charismatic leader, so the stories of the two games are very connected.
Red Dead Redemption 2 became more popular after its Steam launch
The game is played from both a third-person and first-person perspective and presents a massive and interactive open-world, which the player can explore without restriction. The gameplay consists mainly of fighting with firearms, robberies, hunting, riding, interactions with non-player characters (NPCs), and maintaining a high level of honor of the player character through various good deeds.
The game focuses on the player’s choices when it comes to stories and missions. At certain moments in the story, the player will have the option to accept or refuse specific additional missions, which will slightly change the story depending on the choice. The player can talk to NPCs in a whole new way in the series: Arthur can choose to engage in different dialogues with NPCs, from a friendly discussion to insulting them.
