Morgan Freeman Narrates The Trailer for 21 Savage’s New Album

Despite his venerable age of 83 years old, Morgan Freeman remains one of the titans of filming. He doesn’t seem to be planning any retirement soon, and his recent contribution in narrating the trailer for Savage Mode, which is 21 Savage’s new album, proves it.

With the same old credible, immersive, award-winning and mature voice that we’re all familiar with, Morgan Freeman is back in business as a narrator:

“Savage is defined as fierce, beastly, and untamed. Mode is defined as a way of operating or using a system,” Freeman says in the trailer. “So to be in savage mode is to go hard, not allowing anything to stop or deter you from your mission. Basically, this means when someone’s in savage mode, they are not to be f*cked with.”

Morgan Freeman has a long list of narrating credits, and we can mention March to the Penguins, Cosmic Voyage, Breaking Taboo, Slavery and the Making of America, The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, and many more.

21 Savage still has it

At only 27 years old, 21 Savage (Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, by his real name) is not only a rapper, but also a record producer and songwriter. The guy became known in Atlanta for the 2015 mixtape The Slaughter Tape. He then attained nationwide attention, and an EP collaboration Savage Mode (2016) was followed. For the latter, the producer Metro Boomin was involved with its popular singles “X” and “No Heart”.

Morgan Freeman will continue acting in the upcoming movie Vanquish and God knows in how many other titles. His most beloved movies remain The Shawshank Redemption, Se7en, Million Dollar Baby, The Bucket List, Unforgive, Bruce Almighty, and so on. Morgan Freeman’s career will end one day, whether we like it or not, but his legacy will remain forever.
