Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will arrive for Xbox One and PS4 in less than a week. However, just now, ahead of its launch, Capcom is giving players yet another chance to sample the expansion. The developer of the game has announced that it is hosting another beta session of the game this weekend. It will come with an additional quest to hunt the Elder Dragon.
The Iceborne beta will be available for PS4 starting with August 30, and it will be here for us until September 1. Then, from September 2, it will be available for Xbox One, until September 4. If you want to try, you will be able to preload the beta starting with August 28.
For PS4 Beta, it will start on August 30 at 12:01 AM PT and end on September 1 at 11:59 PM PT.
For Xbox One Beta, it will start on September 2 at 12:01 AM PT and end on September 4 at 11:59 PM PT
The official message writes: “Do you have what it takes to slay the mythical Elder Dragon Velkhana? Take on this frosty challenge in the #Iceborne Beta for PS4 and Xbox One.”
This new beta version includes all the three monsters which were available for hunting the previous session. We are talking about Great Jagras (for beginners), Banbaro (for intermediates), and Tigrex (for experts). There is also a new quest to hunt Velkhana, which is Iceborne’s cover monster, for the very first time. More than that, gamers will be able to give it a try to 14 different types of weapons from the game, and also some brand new tools. An excellent example is the Clutch Claw.
The first time you complete a quest in beta, you will get an exclusive commendation pack which will be useful for the full version of Iceborne.
