Huge Updates Coming Soon for Dragon Ball Games, According to Bandai Namco

One of the most popular anime franchises in the world will soon get new praises from Bandai Namco, the publisher for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. All three are immersive fighting games based on the beloved Dragon Ball characters. Whether you want to make Goku even stronger, make Vegeta surpass him, get Gohan away from his homework and back into the training ground, or more, playing these games could grant you such wishes.

Dragon Ball continues even in 2020 when the manga version brings an even bigger foe than ever for planet Earth (as usual): the terrifying Moro, a villain who resembles Cell pretty much for various reasons. While Goku and Vegeta are trying to figure out how to defeat this enemy, Dragon Ball games are reaching important steps further.

Massive updates coming tomorrow (August 26)

Two of the three games mentioned above will receive massive updates tomorrow, and we’re happy to give you details below:

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot:

  • Super Saiyan God transformations unlocked for Goku and Vegeta
  • The Ultimate Kamehameha attack

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2:

As said before, Xenoverse 2 will bring The Supreme Kai of Time as a playable character on August 26. Furthermore, other exciting content is awaited:

  • One new mission
  • Three new raid events
  • New mascots in different color variations resembling Majin Buu, a failed fusion of Goku and Vegeta, Zeno, and Puar
  • 10 new partner customizations
  • Three new outfits
  • Ultra Instinct Goku gets the Divine Kamehameha technique
  • New loading screens with beautiful Dragon Ball wallpapers
  • 9 new fighting techniques
  • 13 new Super Souls

Even though it won’t arrive tomorrow, we just have to remind once again about a legendary Dragon Ball character…

Master Roshi is back in business!

In September, the old turtle hermit arrives in the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ to show the other fighters how to perform martial arts.

Although he was over 200 years old back in the first Dragon Ball series when he was training the little boy Goku, Roshi proved in the Dragon Ball Super anime that he can still be a strong martial artist. During the Tournament Of Power, Master Roshi eliminated several powerful opponents and he impressed Frost, the counterpart of Frieza from another universe. Even the arrogant God of Destruction Beerus praised the old turtle hermit for his performance during the tournament.

Therefore, the Dragon Ball legacy never gets old, and we’ll hopefully receive soon a compelling live-action movie related to the franchise.
