Golden Frieza Arrives to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Frieza is an iconic Dragon Ball character, and there’s no wonder why the Super anime focused on the guy so much. Frieza is not just a villain, he’s a former intergalactic tyrant who would kill his enemies in their sleep if he gets the chance. Despite him being so evil, Frieza helped the good guys tremendously during the Tournament Of Power. He even managed to eliminate Jiren while teaming up with Goku.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was initially meant to focus only on the ‘Z’ anime. But after the developers brought the Super Saiyan God transformations for Goku and Vegeta, a new DLC is on its way.

Golden Frieza becomes available

With no release date announced and exactly as the fans predicted, Golden Frieza arrives into the game along with the Super Saiyan Blue transformations for Goku and Vegeta. The new content has been shown only in the pages of the V-Jump magazine, and the new transformations of both our heroes and Frieza will be representing Part 2 of the ‘A New Power Awakens’ extension.

Golden Frieza gave both Goku and Vegeta a very tough time in the Super anime, as the former tyrant almost killed Goku. But of course, his old rival Vegeta saved him as usual. Goku managed to kill Frieza with a Kamehameha wave, only for him to bring back the villain from the dead later so that he could compete in the Tournament Of Power. Goku even promised a full restoration for Frieza if he agreed to participate, and the villain accepted. There was no need for Goku to search for the dragon balls at the end of the tournament to revive Frieza – Beerus revived the terrifying villain as a gift for participating and helping the good guys to save the Universe.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
