Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 Is Now Live

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 is currently live and comes with some good news. Exclusive content for PS4 was announced, and we couldn’t be more excited. Activision did an exclusive agreement with PlayStation for some of the game features. We’re going to see the Special Ops Survival mode exclusive to the PS4 thanks to their deal. Sony had also received the rights to keep the mode on PS4 until next year on October 1st.

This new upgrade had also introduced a new map, aside from Rust, Azhir Cave. The map would support the mode and will be available on PS4 until October 2020. “Enter the desert wasteland of Azhir Cave to battle waves of opponents. The layout of Azhir Cave gives players different ways to experience the match and fight for Survival,” reads the official statement about the map.

Also, according to the description, players would have to set traps and get control over any entry points. As for more straightforward eliminations, players could search for the high region of the southwest of Azhir close to the Coalition spawn in Multiplayer and catch the enemies. Besides the map, PS4 players will get an exclusive gun blueprint with the next Season 2: Lucky Strike. The gun is an LMG, and it can be collected through a special mission. According to the weapon’s official description, it will be something similar to the Season One’s Jack Frosty Blueprint.

Players should access the Missions tab in Barracks and enable the Lucky Strike task. After finishing each step and gathering XP, the LMG will be added automatically. There are more details, extra content, reviews, and recommendations on the official PlayStation Blog. Season 2 of Modern Warfare is available starting February 11, and players should hurry to discover the new tasks and the new map of Azhir.
